How is EZ PRF Gel different from traditional fillers?

EZ PRF Gel derives from your blood, making it compatible with your body. Three key components, platelets, fibrin, and white blood cells, create a gel that boosts collagen production and volume in the treatment area.

Appointment Expectations

Before Arrival: To ensure a comfortable treatment, it is recommended that you apply the numbing cream supplied by La Vie 60-90 minutes before your appointment. This step is optional, but many patients find it greatly reduces discomfort during the procedure.

Upon Arrival: Your appointment begins with a quick blood draw. The collected blood is then placed in a centrifuge, where the components are separated. Upon separation, the platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is carefully extracted, prepared, and injected into the treatment area.

Following the Treatment: The area is cleansed, and aftercare instructions are given. Wait until the following day to apply makeup, facial serums, cleansers, or creams.

  • Increase hydration 48 hours prior to your appointment and avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, NSAIDs, and Aspirin. Apply the numbing cream 60-90 minutes prior to your appointment.

  • Some side effects you may experience are discomfort during the treatment, itching during the healing process, and minor swelling of the treatment area.

  • Effects last up to 12 months, and it is recommended to receive 1-3 treatments, depending on the patient and treatment area. EZ PRF can be used as a foundational treatment for other fillers or PRP hair restoration.

  • The filling effect is immediate and can last up to 12 months with continued collagen production over several months.
